Yesterday I got to go up to Livermore with my friend Cara and her momma. We met another dog named Chilly and her momma at Starbucks (I like hanging out at Starbucks). Then we all drove out to Del Valle State Park to go play.
Chilly is what her momma calls an "Elderbull". But I would have never thought Chilly to be old because she could swim with the best of them! Her momma threw her tennis ball way out into the water and Chilly jumped right in after it. Cara and her momma did the same and man does Cara swim fast. Of course seeing those two have all that fun I couldn't wait to try it out. "Throw the ball Mom!"

Love this! Roadie, for a boy who just learned how to swim, you sure put on the turbo jets! You might wanna suggest to your mama that she wash your ears with a solution of 1 part vinegar and 2 parts water. With those adorable floppy ears of yours, they'll be prone to trap water and get an infection, and the vinegar solution should help prevent that. Also, tell your mama that it won't hurt one bit... unless you already have an infection.

ReplyDeleteWould love to go again. Mark is totally bumming that he missed out on Roadie's swim debut. And Roadie is still crashed out today from the adventure. Thank you to Violet's momma for the type regarding his ears. Will keep that on hand.
